Anonymous asked What do I say? I say that the majority of these teen mothers were NOT raped. Some were, definitely, but hardly all the ones who claim to have been. I've known multiple girls who have lied about being raped to keep themselves looking like the victim. Girls are disgusting sometimes, we all know that. And before you call me on sexism, I'm a girl. :) Also, I define using contraceptives correctly as at a MINIMUM correctly using condoms and pills, therefore upping the odds of avoiding a pregnancy.

I really don’t care about anything you’re saying, especially since you said “girls are disgusting.. I am a girl” blahblahblah, such a copout. & FYI, just because you’ve “known multiple girls who lied about being raped” doesn’t mean every girl that says she was raped is lying.
Want a contraceptive debate? Post that shit on your own blog. Don’t clog up my ask with it.

thesillybubblegumgirl asked Can't Matt or someone else in your family or maybe a friend take you shopping? You can't be friendless like I am. It's the weekend I am sure some people will be available. Good luck.

Matt actually took me today & bought me one :) he’s determined for me to go to graduation bc he said he wants me to walk since I’ve worked so hard to graduate on time.

Anonymous asked video?

Ones already up from a few weeks ago.. As for another one, I said I might make it but I didn’t have time today. Most likely next week.

kristen-cassy asked For that anons information. Birth control (the pill, nuva ring, mirena) have 1 in 1000 pregnancy's when used correctly. JUST in America there are roughly 313,000,000 people. So that means, in America 313,000 people get pregnant while using birth control correctly. That's just in America. Imagine the world. People are so uneducated. Plus, some teen mothers were raped. What do you say then? Fucking IDIOT. I am pro-choice, but I just couldn't go through with abortion, some people are the same way.

Anonymous asked I didn't say YOU said you used them. It's just most of the poor unfortunates on here. It's ridiculous to think that they were ALL part of that 5.8%. In truth, they're probably just lying to make themselves look better when they weren't truly using contraceptives correctly.

Like I’ve stated for the fourth time now, those numbers were made up. It’s not actually 5.8%. It could be greater or lesser.

Anonymous asked It's just funny hearing all the pregnant teens saying "oh yeah, we were doing everything right, the contraceptives just failed heehee!" If there's only a 5.8% chance of it failing, then either we have some liars or some VERY unlucky girls. I'm betting on the former.

I never said I used contraceptives. I wasn’t on anything, I’ve always said that.
But when people say “put on a condom & stop having kids” I have to tell them that that’s not always the case. It helps to prevent, but it’s not 100% & therefore not the correct platform to stand on.

Anonymous asked Your math makes it seem like contraceptives become LESS effective as you use more. I'm not guessing that that's the case. Try to figure out the actual statistic before you go off on one of your little rants where you try to sound smart and then make yourself look like an even bigger dipshit.

If you understood simple probability, you would see my math is correct. The more you add less than perfect percents, the greater the distance between all of the percents & 100%. I said twice that the numbers were made up incase you didn’t catch that.

Anonymous asked So, were you gonna give a good reason why you should be able to marry the one you love when other human beings can't? Or is there no good reason and thats why you deleted my question before?

I’m choosing not to put forth the effort to answer your question, because I seriously don’t care whether you agree with me or not.

Shining My Own Little Light: Teenage Pregnancy

beelynne51791:

“Pregnant! :)” ……. “OMG! Pregnant” ……… “yay! I’m Pregnant!”

This is all I seem to be seeing every where and announced all over FaceBook or should I say PreggoBook. Girls with their bare preggo belly mirror pics….. Keep that shit to yourself , that’s a personal intimate thing. Teenage girls are getting pregnant like there is something in the fucking water….. please do us all a favor and STOP BREEDING. Yes accidents happen but they do have a nifty thing called Birth control now-a-days, OH yea its crazy and all sorts too and also they sell good ol’ fashion condoms down at the Walmart. I don’t know if girls realize this but having a baby and living off your parents is not okay. Once you become a parent you lose that right to being a teenager and having fun. Children raising children welcome to America. That’s exactly what it is, and these stupid fucking shows “Teen Mom” and “16 and Pregnant”……. ummmm I don’t know if anyone realizes this but it still is not socially acceptable. Some people might say “Well my parents had me young!” well that was also a different time and people were a little more grown up back then and also does not justify you getting knocked-up at 16. Yes, accidents happen, yes condoms break , and unfortunately people do get raped (it’s a sad thing), but it’s getting far too out of hand to be an accident anymore. Raising a kid is tough, tiring, and beyond stressful. Some girls are probably thinking “well what does this bitch know about raising a kid anyways? Or about me?” Well I know plenty, Since I had to help my single mother raise my little sister, she was born when I was 15. My mom had to work nights, I had to do High School during the day and take care of a baby at night and watch over my brother who was 3 years younger than me. So Yeah, I know more than enough. Things do happen but it’s a choice. Yes, in fact it’s really a choice. You can say no. But realize that if you play, you pay. Why not wait until you can have a career, and actual job where you make money, so you can support a child. It is a joke when I go on Facebook and people are gloating “OMG PREGNANT! :)”, I want to slap some knowledge on them. Grow the fuck up first before you bring a kid into the world. Instead of posting updates every minute about your pregnant life and posting pregnant pics and exploiting yourself like a fucking Kardashian, keep it to yourself. It is a personal thing being pregnant, no need to share with a bunch of people you barely know and probably just view you as another statistic. All other people see is a statistic. A statistic that is poppin’ kids out. Your life is your life, live it the way you want to but keep it out of other people’s faces. If I offend you, sorry but I am the least of your worries.

I don’t see how you have the right to tell someone what to post/not post on their facebook? It’s THEIRS. You don’t have to look at it. You can unfriend them, or you can even change the settings on your facebook to where they don’t appear on the status updates but still maintain the facebook friend connection if you want to. I post my pregnancy pictures on facebook because I have family & friends that ask to see them, since they don’t see me all the time. PEOPLE WANT TO SEE MY BARE PREGNANT BELLY. Pregnancy is a personal thing, it’s the effect of an intimate time, but it is also something to be celebrated by not only the parents, but friends & family. It’s a happy time, to bring another life into the world. Even if you’re giving the baby up for adoption, it’s still a happy time during your pregnancy.

As for the contraceptives: NO CONTRACEPTIVE IS 100% except abstinence. No, “double using” is not 100% either. Lemme break it down for you (using hypothetical stats). Let’s say a girl has access to 3 types of contraceptives: birth control that works 98% of the time, condoms that work 98% of the time, & the day-after pill that works 98% of the time, each being used correctly. If she uses just one of these, then she has a 98% chance of not getting pregnant. If she uses two at the same (lets say bc & condoms), then thats 98% x 98% which equals 96.04% chance of not getting pregnant. If she uses all 3 contraceptives (bc, condoms, AND the day-after pill) then that’s 98% x 98% x 98% which equals 94.1192%. When using all 3 contraceptives (birth control, condoms, & the day-after pill) the girl still only has a 94.1192% chance of not getting pregnant. That still leaves a 5.8808% of getting pregnant. THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE. (Remember: these are hypothetical numbers, but you get the idea.)

FYI: Helping your mom raise her baby does not give you any grounds whatsoever to judge teen moms/parents.

Just because someone has a baby when they’re an adult, doesn’t mean that the child magically becomes easier to raise because they were born to an adult. Parenting is hard at any age. If a teenager wants to have & raise a baby, more power to them for pushing through & trying. Not all teen parents are bad parents, just like not all adult parents are good parents. Age doesn’t define a parent. So what if a teenager doesn’t get to party/drink/smoke anymore because they’re having a baby? I don’t see how that’s a bad thing. You would rather let them damage their health even more? That makes no sense.

Noone is putting anything “in your face”. If you don’t wanna see it, don’t read it. But pregnancy happens. It’s how life is created whether the mother is 16 or 60. Stop being so ignorant.
